“The best way to cheer yourself up
is to cheer someone else up.” –Mark Twain
Sometimes we can be so
self-absorbed in our own problems that we fail to see that others are
dealing with much worse problems.
One way to make our days go better is by making someone else’s day. Try it. Buy someone else’s lunch, give them a smile, pay them a
compliment, genuinely listen to them when they talk, and show them that you
care. When you do, they’ll feel
better, and you will, too!
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up (1
Thessalonians 5:11, ESV).
