I look at myself like I do my Mac Computer: sometimes I need
a software upgrade. Now I’m
Christian 4.0 but God wants to take me higher. I need to become more disciplined, to read more, to manage
time better—I’m always me, but before long I’m a better version—I’m Christian
5.0. Over time I upgrade to version
6.0, 7.0, etc., each a small win that eventually, by God’s grace, generates a
big success. There are likely ways
that God wants us all to upgrade.
Ask yourself: “How can I get better?”
I can do all
things through him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13, ESV).
