“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not
absence of fear.” -Mark Twain
I saw someone eating the most delicious looking health bar
at the super market. Before I
could stop to ask her which kind it was, I identified the item on the shelf,
paid for it, and I inhaled it, all in one hasty motion. It really was delicious. The label however made me cringe in
horror; it read: “LUNA Bar For Women.”— “NO!!! I thought. What
would happen to me?” As I
frantically began to check the ingredients, I laughed when I found just a hint
of soy.
Fear lurks in the back seat of one's brain, waiting to take him hostage, and drive him crazy.
Even as Christians, God never promised that we’d live without fear, but
that He’d comfort us and help us master fear.
Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before
them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or
forsake you. -Deuteronomy 31: 6
