“Better three hours too
soon than a minute too late.” -William Shakespeare
We’re told, “Finish what we start.” Sometimes, however, the book we’re
reading is not informative, nor is the movie we’ve watched very interesting.
Maybe we’ve run into writer’s block after having spent the last half-day writing
a paper, or we have spent countless hours at time sucking meetings. Sometimes the best thing we can do is
quit unimportant activities to free up time for the important. Let’s
ask ourselves this: “Am I busy just for the sake of being busy or am I making
effective use of my time?”
Making the best use of
your time because the times are evil (Ephesians 5:16, ESV).
