“Perseverance is failing 19 times and
succeeding the 20th.” -Julie Andrews
Abraham Lincoln failed a total of
eleven times in his bid to become an elected official before the won the granddaddy
of them all. Thomas Edison failed
over 10,000 times to create the light bulb, but it was the last time that he succeeded. Oprah got fired from her first job as a
TV reporter because she was “unfit for TV.” Now she has her own TV network. The question I pose to you is simply: “Are you willing to
fail?” Like anyone who has ever
attempted to do something great, learn to look at failure as a progression of a
process. Failure doesn’t have to be a stumbling block; it can be a
stepping-stone to success.
…don't ever get tired of doing the right thing (2 Thessalonians
3:13, ESV).
