“Your misery is your ministry.”
–Steven Furtick
What makes me miserable
is seeing people walking around with their head hanging down, discouraged, and
accepting a life of mediocrity and complacency. I hate that. So
through writing I try to do something about it. We are all called to be “ministers” (2 Cor. 6:4), and
everyone has a different ministry.
Ask yourself: “What makes me miserable?” Then ask: “What am I going to do about it?”
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet
closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? (1 John 3:17, ESV).
