“It is not only for what we do that we
are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.” -Moliere
Do you remember Pokémon
cards? When God created you He
custom designed you with special abilities like no one else. You might be like the holographic
Charizard whereas I’m like the holographic Blastoise. Both are God’s prized possession, first editions, and
invaluable—just very different.
Therefore don’t envy others for their abilities, because in doing so you
devalue what God has created you to be.
You are uniquely made for a purpose unlike anyone else’s. Maybe your gift is playing in the marching
band; so then don’t wish to be a football player if that’s not your strength.
Work what you got! If you are the
president of your honor’s society, then don’t wish to be a cheerleader if that’s
not your strength. Work what you
got! Be exactly who God created
you to be.
So God
created human beings in his own image… (Genesis 1:27, NLT).
