The Pursuit of God

If a man pursues a woman, wins her heart and marries her: he cannot expect to have a healthy relationship with her by mere fact that he now is with her.  He must continue pursuing her throughout their marriage.  If you seek God, become saved and enter a relationship with Jesus: you cannot expect it to be healthy by virtue of you “having” Him.  You must continue seeking Him throughout life.  My prayer today is that you take time to renew your relationship with the God who is always faithful.


God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9, NIV).
