“Prayer is what moves God.” –Rex Johnson
If a quarterback does not really believe in his team, then
all of the practice he puts in every day throwing a football is in vain. If he doesn’t practice at all then he
becomes rusty. If he doesn’t know
how to properly run a play then he can’t affectively move the offense. In this same manner, if you don’t
really have faith, then your prayer-life may simply be superstitious ritual. If you neglect to pray then you are
rusty. If you don’t know how to
pray then you can’t expect to move God.
Take the necessary time to talk with Him so that he is given the
opportunity to score the winning touchdown.
And
whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and believing, you will receive (Matthew 21:
22, ESV).
