“People don’t just get upset. They contribute to their upsetness.” -Albert Ellis
Job experienced an ample share of suffering in his
life. He lost his wealth and
health, his children passed away; his wife lost faith in him (and God), and
so-called “friends” betrayed him. Job never stopped believing things would get better, and
eventually God restored all he lost.
When bad things happen, it’d be easy to complain and fear we’ll never
get better again. Job’s lesson is true
for us: While we can’t control many of the things that happen to us, we can
control how we react to them. Choose to say, “With God on my side, I’ll get through
this.”
Weeping
may endure for a night, but joy cometh
in the morning (Psalm 30:5, KJV).
Thank You, this was perfect timing...
