“Bold prayers honor God and God honors bold prayers.” -Mark Batterson
Jesus asked a blind man, “What can I do for you?” (Mark
10:51). Jesus didn’t ask this
because he did not know what the blind man wanted, because in fact he already
knew what he wanted to do for the blind man before the blind man even knew to
ask for it. Jesus simply wanted
the blind man to ask, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Jesus granted his request, saying: “Your faith has healed
you.” You too must ask yourself:
“What do I want Jesus to do for me?” No matter how big or small the request, just as Jesus came
through for the blind man he can do the same for you.
Ask, and it will be
given to you… (Matthew 7:7, ESV).
