“Always turn a negative situation into
a positive situation.” -Michael Jordan
Maybe you’re going through a negative situation right now,
and people tell you that you need to “think positively.” As if replacing positive thoughts for
negative ones are going to eliminate your very real problems. This, however, only detaches you from
reality. Instead, incorporate the
concept of positive framing. This
entails that you first acknowledge the negative situation in your life. Next, for a situation that you can’t
change you move on, and for a situation that you can change then you do
something about it. If your framing is positive then your situation can be, too.
Rejoice
in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
(Romans 12:12, ESV).
