“An ounce of application is worth more than 25 pounds of
theory.” -Steven Furtick
I can know that I need to exercise, but knowing it is not
enough; I’ve got to move my muscles to produce results. What good is it to go to church each
week to fill up on knowledge, only to do nothing with it? It’s not enough to know what we ought
to do; we should do it. Give generously,
talk right to your spouse, and help people that can do nothing for you in
return—apply the Bible. Keep learning it, while applying it.
Our
people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they
will not be unproductive (Titus 3:14, NLT).
