“Pain is never permanent.” -Teresa of Avila
When tragedy strikes as it did in Boston yesterday we
struggle to make sense of it. Some
wonder,” Why would God allow this to happen?” Or, “How can this be God’s will?” Although we will never entirely understand God, the bombing attack
certainly was not a part of His will.
The truth is God gives us a choice: people either choose good or they
choose evil. The Word of God promises,
however that what the enemy meant for evil God will use for good (Gen.
50:20). As Americans let’s come
together and pray for the families of those who lost their lives. Let’s pray that in the
midst of tragedy God can collectively draw us closer to Himself.
Weeping may last
through the night, but joy comes with the morning (Psalm 30:5, NLT).
