“To err is human; to forgive, divine.” -Alexander
Pope
The Bible calls the enemy the “accuser of the brethren,”
because when you make a mistake, he constantly tries to remind you of it. Perhaps it’s a voice in your head whenever
you wake up saying, “You’re going to mess up today just like yesterday.” You then mope through the day wallowing
in guilt. If you’ve repented of
your sin then God has forgiven you, so remember you must also forgive you. Don’t listen to the enemy or else he
will steal your joy. Shake off the
defeat and walk in victory!
Therefore,
[there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are
in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk
not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit (Romans 8:1,
AMP).
