“To be a good loser is to learn how to
win.” -Carl
Sandburg
Sports teams discover that the way they won the first time they
can’t always win the second, because the game is no longer exciting and they
are going through the motions, or the opposing team learns their plays so that
they stop them. To win the team employs
a new strategy to keep the opposing team guessing, and for their own sake to keep
things fresh. In dry seasons of
life when we don’t feel God we ask, “God, are you still there?” Maybe you are have lost the Acts fiery
passion you once had for Jesus. Your
relationship with God calls for innovation. Pray for a fresh anointing; ask God to light a fire in you. Just see how God responds.
For which cause
we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians
4:16, KJV).
