“Leap, and the net will appear.” -John
Burroughs
When God asks me to take a leap of
faith, I envision a full sprint to the edge of Grand Canyon and leaping off
into the unknown. In fear I've wondered if this would be the death of me, but just like God He caught me every
time. Sometimes, however—even after the fact that He has protected and provided for me time after time—I stall to get to this junction, questioning whether I heard God
right the first, and even second time He has already affirmed His will. My prayer today is that we not sit on all our potential but that we make a bold leap of faith.
And
leaping up he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them,
walking and leaping and praising God (Acts 3:8, ESV).
I am glad to have read this today.
