“Nothing is so potent as the
silent influence of a good example.” –James Kent
“There is just something about
you,” they say. You walk into a
room confidently exuding Christ.
Maybe it’s a smile that casts light on the dark. Or a comforting hug, and they know
they’re not alone. Perhaps a
gracious spirit, you walk humbly, never stealing God’s glory, allowing a
compliment to go to your head. It's
silent influence; nothing else has to be said.
But if
Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive
because of righteousness (Romans 8:10, NIV).
