“Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of
growth.” -John F.
Kennedy
Do you want to be ordinary? Then let your light shine so dim that
people barely tell you’re a Christian.
Say the carnal things nonbelievers say, go where they go, and do what
they do. Think about what’s
popular, not eternal. Worry more
and pray less. Live for earthly
pleasures, forgetting about the Provider. Conform to the world and be ordinary.
Do not
conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's
will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2, NIV).
