“In life, all good things come hard, but wisdom is the
hardest to come by.”
-Lucille
Ball
Sin comes effortless, but often wisdom is learned through
a series of trial and error, otherwise known as ‘the school of hard knocks.’ Sometimes a good God must first break
you of the bad, whether be selfishness, vices, or idolatry. God then begins to transform you into
the person He created you to be: selfless, pure, and godly.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable,
gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and
without hypocrisy. -James 3:17 (NKJV)
