‘Garbage in, garbage out.’
If you read trashy literature and watch trashy movies, your thoughts,
words, and eventually your actions will be trash. Christians shouldn’t
hide from the world in a cave and avoid pop culture like the plague; rather
they should be sensitive to whatever God tells them. The Holy Spirit may
convict you, having you say to yourself, “I just don’t feel right about
this.”
When he [the Holy Spirit] comes, he will convict the world, and show
where right and wrong and judgment lie… (John 16:8, NEB).
