Happiness does not consist in
pastimes and amusements but in virtuous activities. -Aristotle
God gives us freewill to pursue
happiness, but what on earth should we
pursue? "Happiness" is as fleating and evasive
as grasping for the wind. It's no wonder that when the Apostles decided
to pursue Jesus in Acts 2, God used the sound of wind
to give them the Holy Spirit. Pursue Jesus and ask
him for God's gift to you: the Holy Spirit.
If you then, though you are evil,
know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in
heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! (Luke 11:13, NIV).
