“To Follow by faith alone is to follow blindly.” -Benjamin
Franklin
Christianity isn’t complicated: it’s simply
a matter of following Christ. However it’s difficult to follow someone you don’t fully
have faith in because it’s hard to have faith in someone you can’t see. When
you decide to believe Jesus at his Word (the Bible), what he’s said, and what
is said about him: then you follow him, even if at first you do it
blindly. This decision puts you through
a process, a journey to which he begins to reveal himself to you each day,
little by little. It isn’t any
wonder why the Bible says, Then
will the eyes of the blind be opened… (Isaiah 35:5, NLT).
