“The loneliest moment in life is when you have just experienced
that which you thought would deliver the ultimate, and it has just let you
down.” –Ravi Zacharius
There may come an hour when you ask: “Why is this happening
to me?”—followed by—“Where is God?”
Often God may choose to be silent in pleasant times and speak in painful
times. God manifests himself as
the father who picks his child up after a fall. He is the candle that leads the lost through the dark. He is the whisper welcoming the wanderer
home. God is your help, strong
tower, and deliverer.
But if from there you
seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart
and all your soul (Deuteronomy 4:29, NIV).
