“Peace, peace, wonderful peace, coming down from the Father above! Sweep over my spirit forever, I prayIn fathomless billows of love!” -W. George Cooper
Though many are constantly moving, they have become stagnate where it actually counts: they aren’t drawing any closer to Jesus. What if for a couple of minutes today you could stop whatever it is you’re doing, shutting out internal and external noises to hear God? Maybe Jesus would say: “peace, be still.”
My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places. (Isaiah 32: 18, ASV)
