“There are risks and costs to a program
of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of
comfortable inaction.” -John F. Kennedy
A lion is not granted his feed simply because
he is the king of the jungle and he has the biggest mane: he must hunt and
capture his prey. A passive lion will starve; a pursuant lion will
eat. A Christian is not granted good things simply because he is a king
in Christ Jesus and he has a big prayer-life: he must live out faith, that
which produces works and righteousness. A passive Christian will
spiritually starve; a pursuant Christian will be spiritually full.
“Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but
those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10, NLT).
