“He is a man of courage who does not run away, but remains
at his post and fights against the enemy.” -Socrates
When Christians fall into sin, one of the biggest tendencies is to run
away from God. Why else were Adam
and Eve hiding in the Garden of Eden after eating the forbidden fruit? Whenever you sin, God isn’t hiding from
you; He’s always there, ready to forgive. His grace is sufficient. His mercy is everlasting. He loves you always. Fight the enemy courageously knowing
that God is there fighting along side you.
This is my
command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord
your God is with you wherever you go.
(Joshua 1:9, NLT)
